My Approach to Therapy
Having spent 25 years practicing psychotherapy, I have become interested in the many ways that life can be understood and satisfactorily lived.
A lifetime of avid literary reading has led to a fascination about the many levels on which we communicate.
For me, being a psychoanalyst involves an interest in the depth of people’s experience, taking time to understand each person’s unique self, and creating an individually tailored experience in psychotherapy that promotes growth, creativity, and true thriving.
I help each patient to deepen their understanding of themselves, to create the conditions for lasting change in their inner worlds, and to enhance their sense of self.
